What shall I expect on the day?

The tour will commence from Liverpool Street Station and walk through Spitalfields to Fenchurch Street, via Vine Street to Tower Hill.  From there, we will visit the Tower of London, where we will be guided to Sikh and Indian history within the Tower of London, most prominently the story of Maharaja Duleep Singh and Kohinoor Diamond. The tour will finish at 3 pm, and you can explore the Tower of London at your leisure.

What time shall I arrive?

INFO POINT 1: Walking tour commences from outside Eataly, Liverpool Street Station, Bishopsgate  (🚇 Central/Circle/Hammersmith & City/Metropolitan Line, National Rail, Elizabeth Lines) at 12noon promptly. 


You will see us waiting for you from approx. 11.45am

Is there a dress code?

INFO POINT 2: Please wear comfortable footwear...dress code is also smart/casual/comfortable (based on weather forecast to follow).  I think we will cover only 2-3km at a steady pace, with plenty of stops, Its not a marathon, but best to wear comfortable footwear.

Can we take breaks?

INFO POINT 3:  Planned sites on this tour include stops at The Society of the Protection of Ancient Buildings, Spitalfields Market, Great Eastern Hotel, Artillery Passage, 67 Fenchurch Street, Vine Street and the Tower of London, covering the following stops on the Monopoly Board – Liverpool Street Station, Fenchurch Street Station, Vine Street.

Will there be a photographer on sight?

INFO POINT 6: Social Media and Photos:   At most locations, you are welcome to take photos and share them on social media and personally.  We will  have an official photographer on the tour – and will introduce him to the group.  Most ‘official’ photos only feature the back of heads etc, but some group shots have full facial images.  I  only ask that for those who prefer not to be in photos, just let us know, and we will accommodate requests accordingly.
